AHS:Freakshow Dandy

 Hello Folks,

For this blogpost I wanted to show another circuslook! I'm latley rewatching a TV-show called American Horror Story: Freakshow (season 4). I'm totally obsessed by the cast with Angela Delange , Peter Evans, Sarah Paulson & Emma Roberts. I'm adored by that season because of the mystery of the circus/freakshow, the colors, horror, the entertainment, the freaks and the tragics that comes with it. The misfits back in days (near 1950's) mostly with a physical handicap or people with other extraordinary diseases and conditions were putting aside and discriminated by society. Those people would end up in freakshows. 

This look was inspirated by Dandy. Dandy Mott is one of the characters of that season. He is a spoiled rich boy who wants to join the freakshow. He's loud, childish, crazy and is tired of his rich lonely life. He's and Elsa are the fave characters of that series. Go watch it yourself if you aren't already a fan of American Horror Story!

Funfact: A Dandy is a man who's spending a lot of time in his life being busy with his physical appereance, garderobe and often strove to imitate an aristocratic lifestyle despite coming from a middle-class background. Sounds like a natural misfit LOL. 

The clothes I'm wearing are all vintage clothes, found at different vintage shops in R'dam, A'dam and Utrecht.

Shorts for fall?

Hello Folks

Fall is back! So for the dutch translations.. the weather is not a T-shirt/shorts kind of weather... This outfit is a late summer outfit we shot at one of the last sunny summer days. 

Leather jackets, denim shorts and biker boots for fall! Who's in!? Kiddin it's too damn cold for that in Holland :(. This is more something that I would wear in summer, but the boots and jacket are definitely items for the fall! 

This top I found at H&M it's one of my favorite tops. I have always loved Jurassic Park. When the movie came out I was like 1, but watched it for the first time when I was like 7 and because I'm a 90s baby, for me this is youth sentiment. The denim hotpants is from one of my favorite labels Wrangler. The Boot are also from Wrangler! I always thought that Wrangler only did denim jeans, so that was a little bit of a suprise for me when I found out. I found the shorts in the same vintage store as these biker boots and leather jacket. The shop is called the Episode. If you love vintage stuff as much as I do, you have to visit one of their shops! They have like five shops in Amsterdam, one in Haarlem, Utrecht & Den Haag! I saw on their site they also have shops now in Brussels, Antwerp, Copenhagen and Paris!

Flower Power Doodle Tee

Goodday!

Flower power realness for this blogpost! It's a sporty look for this post. I want to show you this cool tee I got for my Birthday! This tee was a gift by a friend of mine, when I turned 24 past june #geminipower.
This T-shirt is from the latest collaboration Adidas Originals did with Pharrell Williams. This collection is called "pink beach" with dope footwear and  sports apperal. They used a lot of colors in this collection like; shock green, cobalt blue, olive green, but it also have some black and white pieces with the handcraft print. The name of the collection is because the lookbook looks were shot at a pink beach. This collection is meant for guys, girls and kids with bikinis, tanks, tees, culottes, shorts, jackets and leggings. Oh, and an Artist Poncho crafted from water-resistant laminated mesh. You have to see the lookbook of this collection! The people and the shots are beautifull, with a captital B!

This T-shirt is I'm wearing is the Doodle Tee in shock green. The white leather O-ring choker is from The Cobra shop, the white sport shorts are from Umbro and the sneakers are from Converse All Stars.

Whithout black, No color has depth

Hi people,

This blogpost is the first one with the dark hair! It is still à haircolor I need to get used to.. Going from white blonde to dark. My clothes also look so different now with the hair change! Because of the dark hair I needed Some contrast for the look. I want to show you à fesh colorful basic look! 

The Fanny pack aka pouch purse for men is something I wore a lot this summer. at party's, festivals & concerts. It's so easy to have your phone, wallet & keys near you, but not have to take a backpack with you during the day! When I put my stuff in the pockets of my jeans I always loose it LOL! This rainbow Fanny pocket looks pretty retro so I wanted to put this on and wearing it not on the hips but on the chest! This item I got from à vintage store in A'dam. Amsterdam have like the best vintage shops! If you like vintage stores as much as I do.. go check out my blogpost I did for "Bij Ons Vintage"where I selected 3 different look together from their store. 
This Kermit green slim fit stretch pants is à Cheap Monday. The colored pants and shorts were everything this summer! you only need a dark tan with it and READY! the white trainers are from Buffalo. I found these trainers online at Buffalo classics where they sell these classic platform sneakers, check their webshop if you like the old skool buffalo boots!

The white Adidas Glasses are Glasses I found in à little store in Ibiza town with Major discount! From 100€ to 20€ because it was the last one in the store!! *lucky me*

Clean Hologram Wear

Hello Folks,

The summerbreak is now officially over! Back to school again and busy with preparing for my final internship. New plans, a new school year & new hair! This is the last blogpost with my summer white blonde look and went back to the dark haircolor. So for this blogpost I wanted to show a fresh clean look with hologram and transparant items. It's a little bit of a futuritic look and went all the way with it! This is something I will wear to a party, festival or a special event. 

I'm in love with this white leather jacket I bought at Zara with the discount price from 100 euro to 30 euro!

The hologram top is from the brand Monki and yes I know, they only sell girls clothes! I bought this one in a size L for last years Amsterdam gay pride!

These shoes are the YRU's Quozmo platforms sneakers. Unisex sized and it is also possible to buy them online. I bought these alienshoes 3 years ago in Milano when I was looking the whole day for Buffalo boots! At the end of the day after a long time seeking I found these beauty's! Go visit their webshop at http://www.yru.life/ The black tight skinny jeans is a Cheap Monday and the white leather O-ring choker is from The Cobra Shop.

That's 70's summer

Ola Folks!

I'm back from Ibiza! I had such a great time there chilling with good friends, meeting other cool people, relaxing, partying, eating, drinking etc. But at one point my phone broke.. yes my new phone.. and I didn't had a computer near me to stay online and updated with you that much! But it's all fine now. back home again, I got my phone back yesterday and I'm ready to continue the Mermale's Fashion Dairy!!

For this look I took some clothes out of my own closet and wanted to show you this 70's top with the extra short sleeves to put a 70's summer visual for you together. Everything I wear is vintage on these pictures. I bought this t-shirt at a vintage store in Utrecht called Sussies. They sell these old skool tops, sunglasses, hats, shoes, coats, you name it! I've you're looking for a neon polka dot blouse, a green leather jacket and love to wear unique never seen before pieces.. I'll suggest you to go visit that shop. Across the street they also have a dope store, also a vintage store but not sure what the name of that store is but it is next to the record store. You might gonna like that shop also. 

Top: Sussies (This top gives me That 70's show vibes LOL)

Shorts: Episode (vintage Levi's denim hotpants)

Shoes: Sussies (fake All Stars but 20 euro's!)

Necklace: The Cobra shop (vintage store based in LA, this was a gift from them, thanks! Really happy about it!)

Sunglasses: I bought 2 years ago in Milan at a flea market.

Casual Sporty Streetwear

Hello Hello!

For this new blogpost I wanted to do a more casual look, shot on the streets of Utrecht. The previous post was like a circus theme and this one is more basic. I like the contrast between different styles and themes. This is also the first shoot I did with the new blonde hair! The blue hair was pretty dope but in the 4th week having the blue hair was like not cute anymore. Some green spots on my head, so one week before I went to Ibiza, I turned it back to the blonde base.

This photo's were shot after Ibiza so I still had a pretty bronze tan! The sport T-shirt is from Adidas, the black leather sneakers are also from Adidas. The black tight skinny jeans is from the swedish label Cheap Monday. The bust bag is from H&M and the necklace is from the brand/store Weekday, in Amsterdam! 

This was a short one but it's a basic outfit and there is nothing more to say about this look, just watch the pictures below! Enjoy and don't forget to subcribe/share like my other canals. Can't wait for my site come out soon!
